Watts 1/2-N36M1-CAN Vacuum Relief Valve, 1/2″ MIP

The Watts 1/2-N36M1-CAN Vacuum Relief Valve is made of high-impact brass which provides strength and durability making it long-lasting. It has a 1/2-inch MIP connection and features a protective cap. This vacuum valve is used for automatic venting of closed systems to the atmosphere when a vacuum is created. The Watts vacuum relief valve permits air to enter and prevent vacuum conditions that could siphon the water from the system, resulting in the collapse of a tank or water heater or equipment burn out. It is a lead-free product and is tested and rated to ANSI z21.22. It is very easy to install and handle.
